Abstract
The article focuses on an audit that is aimed at determining whether premature babies, admitted to the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) in Pontefract General Infirmary (PGI) in West Yorkshire, England from June to December 2010, were meeting the criteria for cranial ultrasonography screening (CUS). One of the cited goals of this audit is to determine whether babies who should be screened had routine repeat scans carried out within the appropriate timeframe. It presents the results of the audit.
