Abstract
A clinical case study is presented that involved double gastric volvulus which resulted in a complete gastrectomy. Prevention of the very high morbidity and mortality due to complications of gastric volvulus requires early diagnosis, early surgical referral, and urgent surgical intervention. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
