Abstract
The article presents a progress report on rubella elimination in South-East Asia region from 2013 to 2021. Topics include increase in routine immunization coverage with the first dose of rubella-containing vaccine (RCV1) during the period, possible consequences of rubella infection during pregnancy, and rubella and congenital rubella syndrome (CRS) incidence and rubella virus genotypes.
