Abstract
The article addresses the progress towards measles and rubella elimination in India from 2005-2021. Topics discussed include estimated number of children who received a measles- and rubella-containing vaccine (MRCV) during measles-rubella supplementary immunization activities (SIAs) completed in 34 of 36 states and union territories (states) during 2017-2019, immunization activities in India, and surveillance activities and measles and rubella incidence in the country.
