Abstract
The article talks about the severe mucocutaneous conditions like Stevens–Johnson syndrome (SJS) and toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) in the Great Britain. It discussed TEN are described as phenotypes and differentiated by the area of skin affected whereas SJS, is considered as the milder form, that affects 10 percent of body surface area (BSA); and highlights the impact of taking several drugs to increase higher risk of SJS and TEN than other medicines.
