Abstract
Fully covered self-expanding metal stents versus lumen-apposing fully covered self-expanding metal stent versus plastic stents for endoscopic drainage of pancreatic walled-off necrosis: clinical outcomes and success. [53] There was a significant reduction in recurrence in patients where the stent was left in situ compared with patients in whom the stent was removed after resolution (0 vs. 38%). In another multicentric study from China, in all patients who achieved technical success, the clinical success for single-stent drainage versus multiple-stent drainage was 93.9 (46/49) versus 97.4% (37/38) ( I p i = 0.799). 2016, 16, 01, 66-72 33 Bang J.Y., Navaneethan U, Hasan M.K., Sutton B, Hawes R, Varadarajulu S.
