Abstract
The article focuses on the study that examined the efficacy of methadone in treating noncancer pain as well as alleviating chronic neuropathic pain. It cites the case presentation of a 51-year-old woman on evaluating its bilateral foot pain associated with swelling and redness where in she was injected with methadone. The result summarizes that the use of methadone in primary care setting should be taken with cautions to the associations of its dosage.
