Abstract
The 3 He (α , γ) 7 Be radiative capture reaction has been studied in astrophysical energies to see how Coulomb effects and three-body forces affect calculation uncertainties. For this purpose, the effective field theory (EFT) tool and the Faddeev equation technique were used, and uncertainties for astrophysical S-factor and reaction rate in E 1 and E 2 transitions were determined in sequential steps by including Coulomb interactions and three-body forces in the computations. When compared to experimental data, these calculations indicate that the Coulomb effects and three-body forces are corrections for the calculations that help to reduce computational uncertainties.
