Abstract
This article discusses a rare case of a coloduodenal fistula in a patient with Crohn's disease (CD) who also had an unknown duodenal malrotation. The case was discovered incidentally during surgery and highlights the importance of thorough preoperative radiological evaluation for surgical planning. The patient underwent a laparoscopic approach and an extended right hemicolectomy to remove the fistula and address the duodenal malrotation. The patient recovered without complications. The authors declare no conflict of interest, and no datasets were generated or analyzed during the study. The procedures were performed in accordance with ethical standards and informed consent was obtained. [Extracted from the article]
