Abstract
Noteworthy, we should keep in mind that thyroid US may overestimate by 2 mm the size of pT1a thyroid carcinomas [[7]], and by 19.5% the pT1b cystic like carcinomas size, when compared to the definitive gross histological size [[8]]. Which is the best reference tissue for strain elastography in predicting malignancy in thyroid nodules, the sternocleidomastoid muscle or the thyroid parenchyma?
