Abstract
The article explores the interrelation between religious conversion and moral conversion, taking into consideration the theology of Jesuit priest Bernard Lonergan. It identifies the four levels of human intentionality and introduces the link of religious experience to religious conversion. It discusses the role of conscience and its transcendent character in moral and religious conversion and explores the influence of moral conversion upon religious conversion rooted in transcendence.
