Abstract
This article examines the training methods used in the subspecialty of skull base surgery. The study surveyed members of the North American Skull Base Society (NASBS) to analyze the effectiveness of different teaching and feedback methods in endoscopic skull base surgery. The results showed that informal teaching methods and verbal qualitative feedback were rated as more effective than other methods. Otolaryngologists were less likely to believe that feedback is most effective with a shared grading scale. Respondents indicated that standardization and the use of simulation, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality should be prioritized in future educational practices. [Extracted from the article]
