Abstract
The article focuses on a cross-sectional study to measure serum cardiac troponin I (cTnl) concentrations in orphaned harbor seal pups at various points during rehabilitation in a seal rescue center. The study mentions collection of blood samples for serum cTnl concentration measurement, complete blood count and serum biochemical analysis from seal pups during admission into a seal rescue center. The study further reveals myocardial injury in orphaned seal pups admitted for rehabilitation.
