Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 45-year-old man who was presented to the emergency room with abdominal pain and loss of appetite. Presence of Enterobius vermicularis, known as pinworm, in the appendiceal lumen was revealed by pathological analysis. It discusses the autoinfection and transmission of pinworm and cites the treatment with mebendazole.
