Abstract
The article discusses the ways that many countries, including the U.S., Korea and Switzerland, are responding to the challenges associated with attempting to provide adequate and beneficial long term care services and support to an increasingly large population of older people. A discussion of different funding strategies which are required and utilized with several types of long term care and support services is presented.
