Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the uptake and implementation of a released educational waiting room video in sexually transmitted diseases (STD) in the U.S. The study uses a telephone survey and a qualitative analysis to categorize survey responses. Results of the study show that 22% are aware of the intervention while 17% had ordered the intervention kit. It is inferred that the use of interpersonal communication including social networking improves awareness of new interventions.
