Abstract
This document presents the findings of a feasibility study on the timing of suture removal after surgery. The study compared two groups of patients, one with sutures removed after 7 days and the other after 10 days. The study found that there were no significant differences in scar outcomes between the two groups. However, the study did highlight the need for a larger trial to determine if wound length plays a role in scar cosmesis and postoperative complications. The study also noted limitations such as the lack of ethnic diversity and age range in the study population. Overall, the study suggests that a future definitive trial with minor protocol amendments would be appropriate to further investigate the timing of suture removal. [Extracted from the article]
