Abstract
This article discusses the use of endoscopic ultrasound-guided gastroenteroanastomosis (EUS-GE) with lumen-apposing metal stent (LAMS) for the treatment of benign gastric outlet obstruction (B-GOO). B-GOO is traditionally managed surgically, but this study aims to assess the effectiveness of EUS-GE with LAMS as an alternative treatment option. The study found that EUS-GE with LAMS was successful in the majority of patients, with a high long-term clinical success rate and few adverse events. The procedure was deemed safe and suitable for both temporary and definitive palliative treatment in selected nonsurgical patients. [Extracted from the article]
