Abstract
The article presents a study treatment of canine atopic dermatitis with azathioprine. Azathioprine is an antimetabolite chemotherapy drug that has been used recently for the successful treatment of human beings with atopic dermatitis. Twelve dogs of various breeds were included in the trial. A chart showing the changes from baseline in the Canine Atopic Dermatitis Extent and Severity Index is presented.
