Abstract
The article looks at Christian belief and the confessions of faith. It presents a brief history of Christian testimonies since the earliest days of the church until the present day. The author enumerates several reasons Christians are inclined to confess their beliefs including acknowledgment that God has spoken, unity under the gospel and taking a side.
