Abstract
The article discusses the changing role of women in Southeast Asian companies. The authors note how globalization and efforts by the economic organization Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) have helped to promote the role of women in business. They discuss legislation in Singapore that has increased the presence of women in the work force and note differing social values between men and women.
