Abstract
The article reports on the case of a 42-year-old male patient diagnosed with the fungal infection called cerebral pheohyphomycosis. Topics discussed include dematiaceous mycelial elements as the cause of the condition, the difficulties involve in diagnosing the infection and the symptoms exhibited by the patient. Also discussed are the characteristics of cerebral pheohyphomycosis and the use of amphotericin B and oral voriconazole on the patient during and after surgery.
