Abstract
The article presents a study on a foodborne illness outbreak caused by Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli (STEC) O157:H7 associated with raw milk consumption from a cow-share program in Tennessee, United States. The outbreak involved two infants, one of whom developed hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS). It emphasizes the risks of raw milk consumption and highlights the importance of pasteurization.
