Abstract
This article discusses a case of bullous demodicosis, a skin condition caused by the excessive proliferation of Demodex mites. The patient, a 30-year-old Caucasian woman, experienced non-pruritic blisters around her mouth for four years. Despite various treatments, including antiparasitic drugs, the condition persisted. Eventually, weekly doses of oral ivermectin and topical metronidazole led to a complete remission. This case is unusual because bullous demodicosis is typically seen in immunocompromised individuals, and further research is needed to understand the factors influencing the mites' proliferation and effective treatment options.
