The article discusses how archaeologists are documenting the migration of individuals from Mexico, Guatemala, and other Latin American countries into the U.S. Topics include an overview of archaeological evidence of a large and silent migration, such as a shrine erected by immigrants in Arizona's Coronado National Forest, and research by archaeologist Jason De Leon of the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, who is documenting migration into the U.S.
