Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 70-year old woman suffering form facial dermatitis. The patient was administered with topical corticosteroids and underwent a patch test which indicated her exposure from benzyl salicylate found in hair products. She was also diagnosed with allergic contact dermatitis caused by the fragrance ingredient.
