Abstract
An editorial is presented which argues on complementary value of preclinical and clinical radiobiology research projects to rationalize the therapeutic use of radiopharmaceuticals. It presents the views on relevant preclinical models for radiobiology, recommendations on dosimetry in preclinical models and dose–effect relationship and quantitative radiobiological models.
