Abstract
The article offers information on the multidisciplinary field of molecular radionuclide therapy (MRT) that allows specific irradiation of localized and disseminated disease and mentions improvements in radiochemistry, radiopharmacy, and dosimetry of MRT agents. It proposes several topics to understand therapeutic radiopharmaceutical of MRT including determining the role of radiopharmaceutical and target distribution and the role of the tumor microenvironment and systemic reactions.
