We study some properties of degenerated singular integral operators with variable coefficients and related canonical functions for associated conjugation problems. The integral operators are given on the positive semi-axis and degenerate at zero. The canonical functions have a singularity at zero, and the order of singularity depends on the approach angle at zero. We give explicit representations for the canonical functions and study their asymptotic behavior at the end points, which may be useful in exploring functional classes the related solutions belong to.
