Abstract
The article offers information on the upcoming World Health Assembly in May 194, where member states will decide on adopting a pandemic agreement. Topics include negotiations for a streamlined draft focusing on essential components for pandemic preparedness; core obligations and institutional arrangements; and contentious issues such as upstream prevention and the establishment of a new WHO Pathogen Access and Benefits Sharing system.
