Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 54-year-old man with type 2 diabetes and uncontrolled glucose levels, necessitating rapid improvement for surgery. Topics discussed include the use of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) to guide treatment adjustments, addition of prandial insulin, and subsequent reduction of basal insulin based on CGM data to achieve glycemic targets.
