Abstract
If access to medical cannabis is legalised following the experiment, GPs will play a central role in its prescription and/or the medical follow-up of patients receiving medical cannabis. In France, GPs (or "family physicians") are the first entry point into healthcare and refer patients to specialised physicians when needed.
