The author presents views about the reinstituting the military draft in the U.S. The author suggests that the war against Iraq has been started due to weapons of mass destruction in the country. But no such weapons were found in Iraq. Hence, the justification for was against Iraq is no longer valid. Then it was told by U.S. President George W. Bush's administration that war is for freedom of Iraq from unjust regime of Saddam Hussein. But the author is also against this justification also. The author suggests that the U.S. government willing to enslave a portion of its people to fight an unjust war cannot be trusted to protect liberties of its own citizens.
