Abstract
In summary, although BPSS displays a spindle cell morphology that often mimics other soft tissue tumours (synovial sarcoma, spindle cell/sclerosing rhabdomyosarcoma and MPNST), its dual immunohistochemical profile, together with a distinctive genetic alteration and an indolent clinical course, sets BPSS as a distinctive entity. I Sir i : Biphenotypic sinonasal sarcoma (BPSS) is an exceedingly rare, locally aggressive spindle cell soft tissue neoplasm with high trophism for the sinonasal tract of middle-aged adults, with female predilection.
