Abstract
B Background: b Despite low mortality, postoperative complications are still relatively frequent after pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD). Pseudoaneurysm of the hepatic artery is an uncommon but extremely severe complication. In 100% of the cases, patients presented with a pancreatic fistula and the initial debut was upper gastrointestinal bleeding (UGB) and in 75% an urgent surgical reintervention was necessary, all of which had a previous diagnosis by angioCT.
