Ida produced hurricane conditions over portions of southeastern Louisiana, including hurricane-force winds and storm surge inundations of up to 14 feet above ground level. Footnotes 1 RICHARD J. In comparison, the 1991-2020 seasonal averages are 14 named storms, seven hurricanes, and three major hurricanes.
