Abstract
The article reports on the activity of hurricanes in the eastern North Pacific in 2017. It mentions the formation of tropical storms Calvin and Greg as well as Hurricane Eugene which all crossed the coast of Africa. An overview of Tropical Storm Jova which took shape from the remains of Hurricane Franklin and later weakened into tropical depression is also presented.
