Abstract
This article provides a systematic review of facial nerve hemangiomas, which are rare skull base lesions that affect cranial nerve VII. The review includes 40 articles and a total of 176 patients with facial hemangioma. The study found that surgical resection is the preferred treatment option and leads to improvement in facial nerve palsy in the majority of patients. Recurrence of the lesion was reported in only 1.4% of cases. The article provides detailed information on the location of the hemangiomas, surgical approaches, and outcomes after surgery.
