Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 67-year-old White male, with a history of hypertension, depression, and morbid obesity treated with bariatric surgery, presented with low-grade fever and recurrent left-ankle painful rash. Topics include treatment with cefazolin for suspected cellulitis and discharged on cephalexin with partial improvement; and left lower extremity computed tomography showing superficial soft tissue edema without osteomyelitis or abscess.
