Abstract
A letter to the editor is presented which discusses the examination of the presence of myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS)-associated phenotypic alterrations (MDS-PAs) in bone marrow (BM) samples from newly diagnosed patients referred immunophenotypic investigation of plasma cell (PC) neoplasia.
