Abstract
The work proposes a multiscale digital model of heat and mass transfer thermally activated power technological processes occurring in the bath of an ore-thermal furnace, considering the scale levels of the working space, such as the charge area, the intensive melting zone, the carbon zone or reaction area and the lower slag area. The results of an analysis for the intensification of heterogeneous reduction and dissolution reactions with consideration for hydrodynamic and mass transfer aspects, as well as shielding the surface of the reaction area when gas-phase products appear, are presented to determine the modes that ensure the optimal functioning of technological reactors-ore-thermal furnaces.
