Abstract
The article focuses on the 883 cases of pediatric leukemias, which were subdivided into three classes including early B-acute lymphoblastic (B-ALL), T-ALL and acute myeloid leukemias (AML), to study the expression of small nucleolar RNAs (snoRNAs). It notes that the snoRNAs were expressed in a uniform manner across all leukemia subtypes and normal blood cells in most cases. The intricate regulation of snoRNA expression and the evidence implicating DLK1-DIO3 locus in tumorigenesis are tackled.
