Abstract
The article responds to a view that racism is both a bioethical issue and an urgent public health crisis in 2022. Topics discussed include the lack of racial data on individual practices and antiracist policies, the need to address the racial data gap that widens at the race and ethnicity intersection, and the scientific and ethical issues on the data gap. Also noted are the types of antiracist policies to harness the momentum of the Black Lives Matter movement.
