Abstract
The article presents guidelines from The British Society for Rheumatology (BSR) and the British Health Professionals in Rheumatology (BHPR) for prescribing analgesics and other drugs used in rheumatology practice. Key recommendations include for paracetamol in pregnancy and breastfeeding, for codeine in pregnancy and breastfeeding and for serotoninand norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
