Abstract
Background The SARS-CoV-2 virus and the disease it causes, termed coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), has rapidly swept across the world since its first known human manifestation on December 8, 2019. Confirmed cases are present in over 160 countries. This article summarized the impact of COVID-19 on Dermatology private practice. The purpose of this study was to assess the magnitude of the impact of COVID-19 on the private practice of dermatologists across the country through a survey. Methods A questionnaire, containing fifteen questions was created through Google forms and sent to the dermatologists practicing in different cities of Pakistan through WhatsApp or email and data was collected. Results 122 dermatologists from all over Pakistan participated in the survey out of which 78.6% Dermatologist's private practice was completely affected by COVID-19 outbreak. Conclusion Dermatology private practice greatly affected by COVID-19 outbreak. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
