Abstract
RPIA provides a nucleic acid sugar backbone by converting ribose 5-phosphate to ribulose 5-phosphate.[6] In addition to the functional role of RPIA in Th9/Th17-mediated airway inflammation and its steroid resistance, unidentified mechanisms underlying RPIA-mediated IL-17 expression merit further investigation.
