Abstract
The author describes the essential features of a proactive approach to the management of occupational health risks in emerging technologies. The author explores the concept of qualitative approach to risk assessment. The author also talks about the importance of periodically reassessing the occupational risk profile as an adaptive strategy. The author also discusses the establishment of Globally Harmonized Systems of risk management for all technologies.
