The article discusses a series of studies relating to oncology. In one study, 67 patients with liver cancer known as hepatocellular carcinoma were treated with radiofrequency ablation as it can result in a long-term recurrence free survival rate of 30%. In another, a one time colonoscopy was compared with a fecal immunochemical test every two years in 50 000 Spanish adults in risk of colorectal cancer. A study also detailed findings from sorafenib therapy of hepatocellular carcinoma in Italy.
