Abstract
The article offers information on a study regarding impact of anti-thymocyte globulin (ATG)-thymoglobulin and ATG-fresenius for the graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) prophylaxis in allogeneic stem cell transplantation from matched unrelated donor. It states that tATG and fATG show variable quantities of antibody specificities and exert different immunomodulatory effects. It states that effect of natural killer (NK) cells subtypes has been associated with GVHD.
