Abstract
Examines the effectiveness of including the sargramostim stimulating factor in the antiretroviral cocktail used to treat HIV infections. Safety of the factor when used in combination with protease inhibitors; Analysis of HIV virus load following exposure to sargramostim; Treatment associated with a trend toward decreased HIV RNA and increased CD4+ cell count.
